OrthoDirect Treats Most Orthodontic Conditions
How much do OrthoDirect aligners cost?
The cost to patients is much less compared to other orthodontic options: starting at $1,495. But ultimately depends on complexity and length of treatment.
Are OrthoDirect aligners covered by dental insurance?
Yes! We are currently in network with both Cigna, Moda, United Healthcare, Concordia and Delta dental insurance companies in Washington and Oregon. In the event we are not in network with your insurance provider, we are happy to help you get the coverage your plan allows.
Can I pay for OrthoDirect aligners with an FSA or HSA?
Generally, yes. Funds from flex spending accounts and health savings accounts can be applied to orthodontic appliances like clear aligners.
Do I have to pay for everything up front?
Nope. There are monthly payment plans to help fit your budget.
How often should I wear aligners?
Whenever you are not eating or brushing, you should be wearing your aligners. In other words, you should wear them no less than 22 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How long does treatment take?
Most of our patients treatment is under 6 months. However, treatment can last anywhere from 3-15 months.
How visible are clear aligners?
Clear aligners are completely transparent, which makes them much more discreet than metal braces. People usually don’t notice them. They’re not magic, however—you can see them at close range if you know what to look for.
Will I need to wear a retainer after treatment?
As with any orthodontic treatment, you'll need to wear a retainer regularly to maintain your new smile. You'll wear your retainers 24 hours a day (except for eating and drinking) for two weeks (or more if recommended by Dr. Cronin). After that, you'll want to wear your retainers only while you sleep. When retainers are taken care of they can last for a year or more.
